July 25

What our guests are seeing:

Sulphurs are hatching starting in late morning and continuing throughout the day with heavy hatches and spinner falls occurring after 6:30 p.m. Sizes are 18 and 20; colors are very pale yellow, orangey yellow, and yellow, all having wings that appear strong cream (not white) when floating. Have emergers and spinners in your box.

BWO-Size 18-20-dark wings

BWO-Size 22-26-medium gray wings; try these when you can see what the fish are rising to.

Also have a few of these in your box;

ISO, Size 12

Tan Caddis, Size 16-18

While the mainstem is too hot, water temperatures remain in the 50’s through the day up here on the West Branch. Releases from the reservoir have been made late at night.

Dreamcatcher Lodge has 9 cabins and 1.2 miles of private fishing shoreline. My name is Ned Murphy. I’m a licensed guide, and I also sub in the fly shop at Dreamcatcher. We hope you can enjoy a stay with us.
