July 10

Ned here:

7/10/23

Water levels still around 500 usually. Comes back down quickly after the heavier rain. Fog is common in the morning thanks to the low water temps.

What our guests are seeing:

Customers who have been hitting the water early in the morning are catching trout regularly on small olives and spinners in olive, cream and rusty in sizes 14 through 18. Afternoon fishing till can be somewhat unpredictable at times, but they are catching on sulphur orange and yellow emerger and dun sz 20. Big sulphurs (invaries) in some areas have disappeared and are being replaced by small sulphurs in colors of different shades of yellow and orange. ISO’s are there and BWO’s are always around if u look for them. One customer reported doing well with sz 18 & 20 black ants. There is a lot of green in the water, so check your fly often.
